The Boston Red Sox, in partnership with the National Pickleball Association (NPA), are thrilled to announce a pickleball festival coming to Fenway Park in 2023. The date hasn’t been announced yet. But 12 pickleball courts will be set up on Fenway Park’s outfield organizers told The Boston Globe.
NBC Boston stated “Fenway Park will host a pickleball festival this year, giving Bostonians a chance to play one of the fastest growing sports in the nation at one of its most famous sports venues.“
This unique event will feature exhibition games, clinics, and other activities for all ages and skill levels of pickleball enthusiasts. The NPA is excited to bring the sport of pickleball to one of America’s most iconic stadiums. Allowing fans from all over the country an opportunity to be part of this momentous event.
At Fenway Park, up-and-coming players as well as seasoned veterans will have a chance to take their skills on display during competition. Featuring both singles and doubles divisions within different age groups competing for medals or prizes set by sponsorships. Further, spectators can expect great entertainment provided by professional athletes who will be showcasing their talent.
